I hope you all have fun visting one another
to see how "sticks" inspired each of you:

If anyone else would like to join in, leave a comment

Beyond the Log Cabin Walls: DC: Threshold

she stood at the threshold
before stepping out
feeling into the essence of the world
allowing her breath
to meet the sway of the trees
the depth and height of the mountains
her heart to beat
to the song of the birds
felt her kinship with the world
and
she stepped out

it is lovely to be DC host this week
our theme:
threshold

Doe a Deer, Announcing DC

doe a deer

Announcing DC for weekend of November 14-15

"deer"
not to be confused with dear
unless it is a
dear deer
;-)

just one example of how confusing the English language can be!

~

something new:

please let me know in comment below that you would like
to post something for
"deer"

BUT, the new part:
come to my blog after your post is on your blog
and
there will be a way for you to link your post through a
"linky" thing
(i think it will make sense when you see it)

that way people know your post is up and ready to visit
does that make sense?

if not ask me questions

wishing you fun
thinking of deer this week

DC: tiny

a tiny home
amongst vibrant life
 ~
inspired
by last weeks painting:

It was fun to pick up needles and thread

when i did
two sentries appeared
to hold the tiny world in their embrace:

the back:

within the forests embrace
wild love beauty and grace

It is my pleasure to host this weeks DC
with the prompt: tiny

please visit my artful friends
to see how they were inspired:

Next Weekends DC: Pollinators

tears of honey
~

With Spring here on this side of the earth
it is a great time to consider: 'Pollinators

Droege said “Almost all the fruits and nuts, and a lot of the vegetable varieties, that we eat require some insect—usually bees—for pollination,”

here are some of our pollinators: bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, bats, ants, beetles, tiny rodents and more. So BIG Vast possibilities this week!

I saw my first butterflies of the year today! Two kinds, Mourning Cloak and an Compton Tortoiseshell:

also i found a tick on me, just walking around, did not bite me
I would say that Spring has begun!

let me know in the comments if you will post and share with us
March 28-29th
(if your link does not go straight to the blog you are posting on, then leave the link as well, pretty please)

also, even though we call it Drawing Challenge
it can be expressed anyway you imagine:
drawing, painting, writing, photos, food.....
