AC: Sanctuary

she finds sanctuary
in the heart of her being

she finds sanctuary
in the quiet stance and strength of stones

she finds sanctuary
in the air all life breathes

she finds sanctuary
in all living beings

  1. Tammie sorry not to have visited in a while, such beauty and nature all intermingled here. I love how you did this, the rocks with the bodies as one feel so comforting and infused with peace.
Your art has such a natural soul, completely one with nature's magic!

  2. In the "Spiritual canticle" of Juan della Cruz I red a verse with the sentence: O trees, bushes, flowers, stones - did he go here along and touched you with his clothes, because you look so happy?

  5. Very clever to include the bodies in yoga pose as part of the boulders. I think boulders hold stories of our history and this is a lovely painting.
