Her Wonderful Life

 She loves her cottage

and

the world around her

wandering a daily activity

as life went on

she became the colors that surrounded her

~

Was so lovely to work paint on this cold gray day.

This painting is for sale HERE

she sat
until
she was part of the seasons
breathing with the rhythm of the earth
and
heart beating with the sun and moon

Scribble Picnic: Blanket

the night forest was
lit up
by the light of the full moon
wrapped in a blanket
to keep the autumn chill from her bones
she walked through the night

she
walks with her medicine staff
always listening for the truth
beneath the surface

DC: Toast, Mountain Lion

in a dream last week
there was a mountain lion in my forest
~
with the inspiration: toast

one meaning for 'toast':
a person or thing held in high regard by a particular group

surely the beings of the forest hold a lion in this fashion
high regard
I know that i do

eloquant
she is the toast of the meadows
the woods

known for prowess
she strolls with a goddess
in balance with the land

She Walked the Land

walking the earth
through towns and land
walking stick knew the way
when she held it in her hand
aura in golds
and rusty reds
she walked the way
of the older clans
~

I have taken to making small pieces of art.
I love how I can begin and complete a piece in the evening.
