Do you ever need to do something meditative?
Something that brings you present, so that your mind goes nowhere else?
I love things that bring me present.
Photography, cooking, art all support being present.
These layers of mountains were meditative.
So thankful to know what medicine to choose,
a walk in the forest, xc ski through the meadow, focusing on my breathing
Wishing you calm and peace when your spirit needs it.
This is beautiful, I love the soothing colors.ReplyDelete
Thank you Quinley.Delete
Hi Quinley, for some reason I can not leave a comment on your blog. Your dolls clothing are wonderful colors and I enjoy her wild red orange hair.Delete
O I need the right way to come into my focus. There are different ways, you explain here so wonderful. What a meditative painting!ReplyDelete
Many greetings to you and best wishes and always a good centre in your mind and soul - Your Dori
Thank you Dori. We all need to have ways to come center and breathe into the moment. So wonderful that there are many things that can do it. Lovely holidays to you.Delete
This reminds me of the mountains when we visit Rick's dad.ReplyDelete
Oh, what mountains are those?Delete
That's true for me, it inspires me to find my inner peace in these works! To find yourself and you have that with this wonderful mountain pictureReplyDelete
I wish you and your family a happy 3rd Advent, hug Elke

Thank you Soma.Delete
Meditation? I don't know. I think anything you do that you enjoy can be meditative as long as it doesn't stresses you out.ReplyDelete
Lovely painting. I like your use of colors.
Have a lovely day.
Yes, I agree, that is why I called it meditative. Brings me present to what I am doing, not thinking of past or future. A very enjoyable stance.Delete
Thank you. I am not sure what I think of this painting, but I enjoyed doing it.
Lovely day to you too.
Merry Christmas Tammie,ReplyDelete
Thank you, so kind of you to visit to leave your message.Delete
This is so pretty, Tammie Lee. Yes, we all need these "silent and still" things to calm us from time to time. I love going to the creek, and saying the Rosary always brings me peace. So glad you have your wonderful art to be creative with and express your thoughts. Our blogs are also a wonderful place to do that. : )ReplyDelete
