Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Samhain!
(it truly does feel like the beginning of the cold, frozen time of
year. )

I feel drawn to consider and send prayers to those have passed before
loved ones and those I had not met

I send you love on your journey
may it be of grace
I miss you

    1. Dear Dori,
Samhain is a festival of the Dead. Meaning "Summer's End" and pronounced saah-win or saa-ween, Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year. For many practitioners, myself included, Samhain also is the beginning of the spiritual new year.

It sure is the beginning of the cold season here! Thank you for enjoying the drawing.

  6. I hope it will be a cold, frozen time sometime this Winter. I think we need cold as well as heat.
Your young witch is exquisitely drawn, Tammie. The way you have made the skirt drape on her raised knee, that is so skilful.

    1. Yes, the freezing seems to purify life somehow. A fresh start, washes things off, but the earth in freezing and thawing loosens up the soil. Nice.
Thank you for noting the details. I think of her as confident an at peace within herself.
