  2. Never my hat, but my hair, my camera bag, my coat and they have poked me in the eye, those little devils!

I am so glad that you finally painted this. Delightful colours, and I love how you personified the tree!

I love how the girl (you) is grabbing for her hat and realizes it is gone! Well done!

  3. Beautiful painting! The wind here at the Rhine is also a hat snatcher, 2 of my winter caps went sailing away this year! Valerie

  4. Great painting. I know what you mean about trees. I've never had this happen to me but I did know somebody who got swept off her horse by a tree!

  8. oh yes this has happened to me many times, I live in an area where there are many low bushes, and with thorns, then I use a hat so that the thorns do not damage my head, and always gets caught on a branch!
    Happy Women's day, Tammie :)

Naughty trees - I guess the ones I associate with are more polite, as this has not yet happened to me :)

  18. I am heading out now for a wander in the woods, and I have no doubt that the trees will try to snatch my hat! I will think of your lovely painting as I duck under trees.

  19. Ha, very true, Tammie! The trees like to play games in the forests we walk in too. I love her hand hunting for her hat and the other on her hip. Delightful.

  27. Very, very nice illustration but what really excites me is your story about trees grabbing your cap. This winter it happened to me twice! First time my cap was lifted I said: haha very funny to the tree and I really had to laugh because it was funny and the next day he did it again! Tree jokes. But I don't blame him, even trees need some laughter from time to time and maybe seek for attention, thats o.k. right?
Love your drawing! Also very sexy this red hair girl!
