Feels so good to complete a painting.
I started this in July
life had some other plans for me, besides painting.
Now I get to start another painting, wahoo

I hope you are all enjoying our new season.
There is something about the thresholds of seasons,
the air holds a different energy
two seasons greeting one another
dancing back and forth.
A heightened sense of life perhaps.
Here in NW Montana
it feels as though we have truly entered autumn,
summer has vanished.
Lovely autumn to you!

wonderful art, here is a lightness when I watch the scene. It's not hard to open up to what you feel!
ReplyDeleteAutumn should bring you a wonderful time, hugs Elke
Thank you so much.
DeleteBeautiful, how you've managed to convey warmth & protectiveness together with openness and receptiveness. Hard act to navigate, but this gorgeous color palette does some extraordinary work here. Glad to see you back -- hope you've enjoyed a lovely equinox! (anno)
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your perception of this. I love looking at it again through you. I sense that if someone gave me the assignment: to convey warmth & protectiveness together with openness and receptiveness, I might draw a blank.....
DeleteThis is incredibly beautiful, Tammie. The colors are wonderful and it has such movement and energy. Fabulous.

DeleteThat is just beautiful. There's just something about it that got to me. Fall has arrived here in northern California also. It's a good season, one that is peaceful and calm and dear to me. Enjoy Autumn in Montana, Tammie Lee.

I really like the colors here - the colors of autumn, maybe. Wonderful painting.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely autumn.
Beautiful-- it reminds me a lot of stories about fairies I read, and I love their poses.
