I am taking a course by Paivi Eerola
I enjoy looking at her art, sometimes feeling my heart respond to her paintings.
I like her teaching style, so many wonderful techniques and tips and yet it is quite intuitional, which I enjoy!
The painting above had many layers.....
then the next lesson had us finding fairies in our painting:
I found three fairies, but sense are more!
I am looking forward to more of her lessons!
It really looks like a fabulous course.

Well, I love art like this, cause I've always seen images in clouds and trees and such. I see three fairies in this painting, but I also see a man with a beard. Did you paint the fairies in this flower art, or did your instructor? It's delightful, and it's just one more talent that you have, my friend. : )

DeleteThis is my painting. I watched the teachers lesson and made my own. It does not look like hers, which is good. But I did use her techniques. I see more fairies too. It is fun to create the painting and then look for characters in it and then gently enhancing them to bring them subtly to life.
DeleteIt sounds like a lovely course and I certainly love your painting. I see a few fairies there, too! Don't you love it, learning techniques when you already have painted a long while? It's so satisfying!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is fun. Part of what I am loving about this is learning to consider art a bit differently and how it feels mostly intuitive.

DeleteThese are wonderful flowers! These lessons fit very good to your style! The fairies are sweet and not too dominant. I see, that there are several levels of colors. I think your new teacher is enjoying you and your art.
