Poise Rises from Within

He stands on his toes
Poise rises from within
Planted similar to a mushroom
Rooted in the earth
Crown nearing the heavens
Though he is an elf
His prayers are for all humans

    1. Thank you Dori.
Very different color choices for me, which I doubted for a day or two, but as the painting unfolded it came together for me.

    2. Those doubts in the mind of an artist and the victoty over them - this is my experience - are valuable to discover new things.

    3. Perhaps all artists have this experience. Doubt and wonder as they move through a piece.
It is good to have the experience of working through the doubt to satisfaction. It offers us courage for next time. I know that I lean on this memory. Thank you for sharing your experience.
