Nearing Spring Equinox

I came across a photo someone took of me

at Hearst Castle

this is such a fun dress to wear

usually i make up the characters in my art

not even looking at photos

it was so much easier drawing from this photo

To Color This or Not....

she adores spying mushrooms

fruiting from the forest floor

as an ink drawing i am happy at this point

but now

do i color it

or leave it as it is?

She Leaps (fillip)

leaping with spring

enlivens one's spirit

I wanted to join a new (to me) group of artists

the prompt is: Fillip

there are many meanings:

enliven, flip, excites, stimulates

flick, spur,  and so on....

I was going to draw a fairy flipping through the air

but when i sat to draw.... 

it was as if the fairy played a joke on me,

I totally forgot my original idea!

you see there just is no controlling what a fairy wants to do!

if she must leap, then leap she must ;-)

but i can play and flip the art ;-)
