Tammie, I'm so glad I found your site through your comment on another. I just started watercolor painting in April, and I love seeing what others are doing with it. I'll be back.
AH, yes. The little birds. We just has a wren (of some sort) visit our deck yesterday. A rare December sight, indeed. And the juncos are everywhere, as expected in this season.
Interesting to consider the bird dominating the scene. I did start with the bird, so my focus is on it. Much like my macro photography, there is something that catches my eye, the rest is kind of in the background. I think this is true of most my art, though I never thought of it till now. Thank you for inspiring new thoughts.
Warm Greetings to you, I am a artist, photographer of nature and poetic writer. My arts are inspired by the land I live with. Living in a wee log cabin surrounded by woods, meadows and wildlife in the NW corner of Montana. I hope you enjoy your visit, I look forward to getting to know you.

ReplyDeleteThank you Jess.
DeleteIt is indeed a sweet bird. And a lovely rendering of it!
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you Jeanie!
DeleteI have not seen birds, mostly I wasn't paying attention. Your bird drawing is lovely, makes me think of sunny days.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
The more attention I give the birds, the more they show me about them. They are quite fun to watch.
DeleteSweet bird indeed! What a beautiful scenery too, that probably makes her joyous as well, it would certainly make me very content :)

ReplyDeleteI love the little juncos, though I have not seen them for weeks. I wonder where they moved off too. They stay here for winter.
DeleteYour bird is adorable! I love hearing their beautiful songs all winter long too! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. With my new relationship with the wee birds, it makes me want to learn how to draw them.
DeleteThat's a great idea Tammie!!
DeleteYes, a sweet bird beyond doubt.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty drawing with lots of detail but the bird dominates it, as perhaps he should.
