Magic of Life

as he leaned against the tree

as though it was part of his body

toes outstretched 

supported by earths boulder

he reached 

for the spheres 

the colorful spheres of energy

knowing they were gifts to behold

admire 

and 

partake in

the magic of life

and 

living

little birds have become an endearing part of my life

each day I enjoy their presence

there are just a few types that stay with us during the cold of autumn 

and winter

we love their company

sitting on his favored rock

present to the breath of all life

happy in his whimsical world
