Scribble Picnic

across the universe
is a world much like ours
but there
things that are large are small here
and things that are small there are large here

I wonder what kind of differences that would make

  1. I really love this Tammie Lee...it's wonderful. And yes, there are universes beyond our vision, only in imagination and sometimes visible if we're so lucky! :))))

  3. I think that would be quite an interesting place. If a pebble became a mountain and a mountain just a stone. Great idea and beautiful painting. You really nailed the texture on that mushroom stem.

    Een mens kan groot denken,
op deze wereld bol, zijn we heel klein.
    groetjes Christiene.

    Beautifully made Tammie,this giant mushroom.
    A person can think big,
on this globe, we are very small.

  8. Oh my goodness ... I love mushrooms! Where in the Universe is this :)? What a clever idea and what a perfect point you made ... who knows what we would find out there. I can only hope it is all as lovely as your painting :)

  11. Waaaaaaaaa! That would be so much fun! Except for spiders....and other bugs..... Ok, on second thought, maybe that would not be too much fun. Love the texture of that mushroom, though. Awesome!

    1. whoa, the bugs, I hadn't thought of them!
It is a kind bolete mushroom and one of the ways to id them is to note the reticulation that happens on their stems. Often it is at the top of the stem near the cap, but the mushroom that inspiree me had it all the way down it's stem.
