Magic of the Woods

One never knows what they will see when they wander in the woods

my computer died....
On my iPad here, I don't seem to make the photos larger
I think you can click on the images to see the magical details larger

( computer up and running, got to make images larger, yay)

InkTober 2017

This is my 3rd year to join InkTober
one ink drawing a day for Octobr.
I find it to be a great challenge,
ink pouring onto the paper each day.
Never know what will appear.
So fun.

It is so beautiful now!

Girlfriends

together
they called it
home sweet home

(post edit:

Breathing on the threshold of a new life, new home, they released their dreams to touch the land and tiny house, imbued it with their love and stepped down the path.)

It is always a decision
do I leave it as an ink drawing
or
do I color it .....

Fairy Ring

standing in the fairy ring

feeling the magic
of the earth, mushrooms and Fae
 rise through her

until she felt vitality, love and light
in every cell of her being

Sage & Sepia

the magical realm of summer
of nature
a glimpse
~

first i painted the page a light sage green
let it dry
drew a border in sepia ink, with a dip pen

drew the picture with masking fluid
let it dry
painted over the mask with a light wash of the sepia ink
then peeled the mask away

~
the two little hummingbirds are growing up
eyes still closed

and look the photo is in sage and sepia colors:

Feather Clan

the other day
at a farmer's market
i saw a little old man
perhaps 90 years of age and more
carrying two long feathers
so much taller than him
immediately i began this sketch
perhaps in another he was an elf
