I was so immersed in this painting that I forgot I was doing a lesson
and
didn't follow the lesson.
Makes me smile, as I love getting immersed in basically anything!

This is beautiful, Tammie! The white trees emerging from the green background are especially striking, and I love the radiant sun! Such a feeling of mystery and magic in the boy's discovery of the mushrooms...

DeleteThis is a lovely piece. I'm not sure the purpose is doing the lesson. I think it might be creating the art that moves your soul and you did that.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie. The part I did not do was to find the main character in the previous background layers. Like finding characters in cloud watching. Instead I made him up and also I did not add dark darks to the piece because I am in love with the colors as is.
DeleteI think the lesson was to be creative yourself, and have fun with it. He looks like an Irish lad to me, love it.
