Planting Spring Plants

she dug a little hole
and hoped with all her heart
that the little swirly plant
would thrive and be happy in it's new home

~

This week I planted nine plants
and hoped with all my heart.....

also hoped that the deer and ground squirrels will  not eat them!
~
Lovely weekend every one!

  7. What a poem! I also mean this most lovely and amazing watercolour is a poem! It lives and touches my eyes to produce some tears. This drawing is so real, you showed a global spring-planting heart-love. Nice green hair!

  10. Oh, I just love this post. The image, of course, but also those nine plants... and the hope for their future. :) My fingers are crossed for you, that the deer and ground squirrels find their sustenance elsewhere!

  16. Een mooie tekening van de plantjes, echt voorjaars tijd.
Tammie de kleurige tekening doet met denken
aan onze tuin op nieuw begonnen met plantjes
en ook de vijver met planten,
    Wens je een mooi zondag.

A beautiful drawing of the plants, really spring time.
    Tammie's colorful drawing makes sense
    Started planting our garden again
And also the pond with plants,
Wish you have a nice Sunday.
    with kind regards
    Cristiene.

  20. What a lovely little painting and poem! We've had a long rainy and cold spring here in Western Oregon, I've planted lettuce, and about ready to do more gardening! I have a swirly free that matches your swirly little plants on my post this week!
    Happy PPF!!

  21. There is a sweetness in this picture and truth in your words ... we too have a ground hog (but no deer) and I see many a little green nub where I plant each year. Though I have to say that it is May 19th and 38 degrees out (crazy, right?) so I haven't started planting this year ... yet :) Lovely Art, Tammy :)
