How incredible to see the bear like that. Your painting is sublime, the bear looks so confident and I love all the pretty flowers together like that - a bear flower meadow.
I don't know if it was a mom or a male. Hard to tell unless they are with their cubs and this one might have had them hidden in the grass or up a tree. It was not huge, but not small either. But I loved seeing it.
This is way cool, Tammie! Did you see the recent video on the news about a bear that walked everywhere upright on two legs because one of her fron legs was injured? Reminds me of your bear standing up to take a peek...
I think the bear felt your love and peace, you can see him loving and peaceful, not as an enemy, not dangerous or terrible, no, surrounded by friendly flower-friends. True innocent eyes!
great painting. What an experience. He was having a good look but he looks so gentle with your flower painting of his body. A wild flower meadow, hiding a curious bear.
Very nice drawn experience Tammie! I also wish to meet such a nice bear in a flower meadow. We have no more bears, but for a few years, there live wolves and lynx again with us in the woods.
... I also like your newest painting, the girl walking on the path of stones! Ulrike
I have been going through your posts just now because I was so excited to come across it. Thank you so much for your visit to mine and your kind words. I LOVE the bear in the midst of the flowers. This painting is adorable. genie

ReplyDeleteA sweet, beautifully done image, Tammie. Such a contrast between the bear and the delicate flowers. It must be nice to have bears as neighbors... :)))
