Fairy Ring

standing in the fairy ring

feeling the magic
of the earth, mushrooms and Fae
 rise through her

until she felt vitality, love and light
in every cell of her being

~
yesterday I posted the inked version

and now the painted version

it was fun to let the fairy rings in my lawn inspire this piece
~
sweet week to you!

C'est toujours tellement un plaisir et bel étonnement à chaque fois !! Cette dernière oeuvre, remplie de poésie, me fascine avec ce cercle de petits champignons... Sublime travail !

  6. So tender and imaginative. I think the lady standing in the fairy ring is yourself, Tammie. Sweet week to you, too.

    1. I suppose there is a bit of me in all my art. I did stand in the center of a ring and breathe and feel and that is where this painting comes from. Yet I rarely actually think I am painting myself, but it often is my life.

  7. I love them both for different ways, Tammie -- but the colors in this are simply dreamy.

  8. Beautiful! It must be magical within that fairy ring. I think it must only appear when little fairies want to honor someone special, and this is you within that magical ring. You must have a bit of fairy or sprite in your blood! I love this beautiful lady and the wonderful trees with their great big knots and the large paintbrush leaning against one of them. So lovely!

  10. So adventurous! This day I found this kind of ring ( just a piece, unperfect, but the idea was there) in the meadow of my horse and felt a nice connection to you and your white version, and now it's coloured! Happy!

  13. Love this one! I had forgotten about fairy rings. For some reason, we don't have them around us here. I used to see them when my husband's parents lived in the north woods.

  14. All of these colours are so gentle even although they are intense.
Love looking at all the details, the little bird, the two blue flowers bottom right, her interesting skirt and the fairy ring surrounding the soft green.
Is she a good witch? Is that her broom propped up against the tree?
