Tombow Markers

recently i found the artist:
she has just released a new book that looks wonderful:

she has been sharing various artists on her blog in celebration of her book
she has also shared wonderful 'how to' tutorials!

i did the piece above from her:

so much fun!
then i decided to do another

one of my girls:

tombow markers are water based
so after making a sketch

simply take a wet brush to it!

treat yourself to a tour of her blog
she is charming
talented
and generous with tutorials
maybe you will even be inspired to purchase her new book!

  7. Hi Tammie,
I've never heard of these markers but will try them now. You made a lovely girl inspired by Carla. I love her work too. I can't wait to try out her new book. The first one was a lot of fun. I loved the Picasso dogs exercise. Thanks for reminding me of her work.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

tombow markers.. hm.. I'll have to check that out.. lately I've drawn with only a pencil, then faded it out with a brush, besides an eraser.. great fun! same technique I suppose..except from water.. :))
