Scribble Picnic: Curly

home sweet home
~

waiting for my dentist appointment
I drew this lady with curly hair
and
her colorful home
with curly smoke
and
curly clouds
 ~

later sitting in the lobby
looking a the floor
I spied this serpent in the grains of the wood
and
thought it a rather curly serpent

  3. Curls everywhere! You really used the theme. As a kid, I'd have longed for that turquoise hair.

  5. "Curly"! What an original theme. I'm now imagining that this lady is your dentist and her dental surgery is in the tower. But I wouldn't like to go to this dentist and find this curly, rather sinister, pink serpent on the floor.
Your art always stirs my imagination

    2. That's not a bad idea Tammie Lee...I'm going to read up on the links. It would be a good way to give me some structure with my art projects...I'm all over the map these days. I can't handle not being organized!!! Thanks for the suggestion!! :)

  9. These are both really interesting and lovely. I have a big dentist appt. coming up - doubt I will be creating anything so amazing whilst waiting in the office - but I'll think of you and wish I could escape to the cute house on the hill with the curly smoke!

Fun to think of you enjoying the wee house soon.

  10. Your green hair girl reminds me of the young woman who works in the grocery deli. Her hair is any number of colors -- sort of exactly the color you used at St. Patrick's day, these days sporting a rather neon hot pink. Somehow it works for her!

  13. Also a time occupied by dentist-actions cannot kill your deep contact with the forest and their secret people and friends. They find you everywhere!
Hope everything is okay now with your teeth!
