summer grass is turning golden
fruits ripen every where I look
we are entering the serious harvest season

two days ago
I noticed the days light is getting shorter

it feels good to sit down
sketch
and paint

another fungi floral fantasy piece

I hope you are enjoying your season
be it summer or winter

We have not had many mushrooms this summer. But maybe in autumn.

I am still uncertain about that spider web, but there it is. ;-)

  3. This might be one of my favorites with the rich tones. We should be seeing fungi soon -- they generally begin to pop here in late August. I don't want the summer days to end...

    1. Ah, thank you Jeanie.
I do love playing with color and this one took a bit more layering than some till i was happy with it.
Yes, autumn mushrooms, I hope so, spring and summer didn't offer many this year. It is dry here and hot this summer. Not mushroom weather.

  5. Another beautifully drawn picture. I thought the spiders web touched with rain is so evocative of late summer. I do like the delicate feel of your work

  9. This is buzzing with life and the turning of Summer as it heads to late Summer and the fruits of the Earth budding through, I love this piece. Super to catch up here again. This one is especially mellow, a real favourite!
