Sharing with Michael's:

a few nights ago
I woke to the screaming calls of two fox in the woods
their sounds are quite unique

somehow it inspired a feeling of all is right in the world

  1. That's a nice drawing! We've heard foxes, but usually at the end of the summer. They are very unique sounding! Your words made me think of something I used to say...that even porcupines need hugs too. :)

  4. "somehow it inspired a feeling of all is right in the world" ....

I had the same inspiration coming into my mind by the word: "And look, everything was very good". Nothing will be lost, and all are included into the big dream of everlasting happiness, a dream which will be our true future, I believe.

Lovely fox, a little bit naughty, but he MUST be a little bit naughty, to be loved by his creator :)

Fun that it reminded you of similar but different thoughts.

Inspired by a nightly cry from the fox and that you have drawn beautifully on the sheet. I love your painting.
    The fox looks very great!

  10. Beautiful and peaceful way to show a fox, which I don't think of as a peaceful animal...but true, everyone needs that moment. Should have known you are good with foxes, as I like the one in your header. Great job again.

  14. I love your fox but I'm afraid we have very different feelings about their screaming in the night. Scares the living daylights out of me. Your yoga fox would not. I love the peacefulness of it.

  15. this is wonderful & I like your fox looks almost quite human. and I like how you did the furs - sort of rough and a bit messy.

    have a lovely day.

  16. Yes, our foxes often call out at night - usually the barking sound which is somewhat different from a dog. It's eery, at night time especially, but makes me understand that we are just part of the landscape of life, the animals are always out there too!

    Your illustration is amazing.

  17. Foxes really are so magical, I feel, every time I;ve seen one...which, in fact, has always been in the city, oddly enough!

Your style here is almost fragile and perfect for the theme of stillness for your lvoely rendered fox. Wonderful. Thank you Tammie.

    1. That is interesting that you have seen fox in the city. Usually I see them from the car, as with all wild life. In the wild, walking they usually hear us before we hear them and they disappear.

Thank you for enjoying and for hosting us!

  20. How fun, a meditating fox! I never heard a fox scream. Maybe I'll have to look it up on YouTube, there must be a video somewhere with the sound ... Have a happy weekend!
