  1. What a very difficult theme, but you've illustrated it so cleverly with the pretty pink bear costume and your little matching poem. Nice work, Tammie.

    1. thank you Sheila, as the days of the week rolled on, i found myself with so many ideas for skin. it is fun how a word can work within you, inspiring ideas and thoughts. that is partly what i love about joining in DC.

  7. Wonderful! This is food for thought, finding our bear within. Sometimes a large brown bear inters my dreams and it's always very real and lifelike.

  8. Yes!
Great idea - cute little bear-boy, not a bit scary - perhaps he is the middle-sized bear? :)

  12. oooh.....
    i love this!
    the drawing and the words
i would love to have a bearskin sometimes
because i do not know where my bear within is
    and
it would be a good thing to do (and wear)
    for my youngest son too....
    it moves me....
    thank you!
    xx

  13. that is a great saying, and a dreamy / aphoristic one at that.
the simplicity of your drawing touches me greatly, the colour tone is so tender and the allusion to softness as opposed to course bear mood is so well brought.
i thank you, and tammie, i love the drawing.
    thnak you for playing.

  22. Great bear suit and love the poem. Had some of your posts to catch up on. The acorns on the headband are just right. " From little acorns big trees grow" The much traveled bird is a delight. Your work is so full of lovely images.

How wonderful that you got to spend time with your grandbabies in CA. I hope the heat wave and wildfires didn't detract from your time here. :)
