Love the whimsy of this piece. I kind of chuckled at the girl just casually standing en pointe and waving at her new friend that walked down from the sky. Are you thinking of colouring this one Tammie? I can just imagine it with vibrant colours.

The bear does not fight, because the viewer is dancing so nice, and the soul of the viewer is dancing, too, holding a beautiful inner balance. So the bear is in a peaceful, fascinated watching eye-contact with her.

ReplyDeletei totally agree, eye contact with an animal is very, very powerful, mainly because i try to get it with my human brains, and i always wonder if this is correct. i mean, we don't know for sure what the animal 'thinks'.

ReplyDeleteTammie Lee, you live in such a beautiful area, to see a bear from a neighbor's yard! There was a black bear in a tree in the city of St. Paul (I live in Minneapolis) but unfortunately, the little darling had to be put down. Where in the world did he come from!

Oh my goodness, you had eye contact with a bear! In wildlife! Hard to imagine for me here, where no bears will be expected on a walk outside...that surely IS a powerful moment, rare and intense!! Don't know if I had calm hands enough to make such an amazing photo!
