Bear Totem

while staying in a beautiful wee cabin in the wilds of Montana
thoughts as to whether the bears are wandering about yet
or still cuddled in hibernation
 inspired this pen sketch
(read the last post to hear more of my time in the Northfork)

sometimes the mail man brings surprise treasures!
have you met Trish, Soul Soup Sister?
she is a lovely woman
who shares heartfelt things

we know one another through blogging....
but never in person
to my surprise this beautiful handmade gift arrived in the mail
gloves for an artists hands!!
plus organic tea ;-)
yum

thank you Trish
such a magical surprise
you have touched my heart
inspired a smile

  10. Great sketch Tammie and it sounds wonderful staying in a log cabin in Montana!! Bliss. What a great gift you got - those gloves would be ideal for me as my hands are always cold these days and it makes it hard to paint with any degree of pleasure when your fingertips feel numb!!

  24. Soul Soup Sister’s mitts look so lovely. This is why I love the world of illustration/art/craft blogs -- There is very little trolling and you get to 'meet' the loveliest most supportive people.

I like the use of fuzzy lines on the bear sketch.
