Lavender and Lilac, Spring Inspired

spirits of earth and air
let us dance
with gloreous flare
ethereal we share as kin
breathe dance laugh
and spin

recently I was thrilled to win a copy of Seth Apter's recent book:
Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed

this book overflows with questions to the artists
about how they feel about their art:

where do you find you inspiration
what emotions show up in your art work
what expresses the inner most you
and so on the questions continue
also
the book overflows with wonderful art!

I love learning about artists

Thank you Seth for the gift of your book!

I am sharing this with Sofia's Sunday Sketches

Lovely Sunday to you all!

Lavender is calming, relaxing and prevents insomnia ... is a wonderful flower in your blog ... now breathe this aroma.
The color purple is the color of spirituality.
I love the way you see the art, the most important is what you transmit!
A thousand kisses purple.

I love how you painted their eyes--especially in that first drawing. You've captured pure love in her expression. This also fills my eyes, sweet Lady Montana.
