The thought of my art making you smile, well that makes me smile.
DeleteBeautiful Tammie Lee!!! The colours are very happy! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying the happy colors!
DeleteFun that you were inspired to see all the clock art.
PS: I looked at all of the other versions of the Grandfather Clock, very talented people! I hope nobody gets mad at me, but Tammie Lee, I really like your interpretation the best.
ReplyDeleteOoh, what a wonderful, cheery and lively interpretation of the theme, Tammie. I love it. So well depicted. Love the colours too. So fun! What a great concept. What made you come up with that idea? :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the picnic contribution! :)
Hi Michael,
DeleteI didn't think I would participate this time, just couldn't come up with an idea. Then I thought to draw... the dancer came first, then I thought: Oh! She can be dancing to the clock. That is how so much of my art happens, one step at a time.
WEll, I am soo glad you did then! :) Great!
DeleteWhat a delightful dancer, you've made her so pretty. Love the colorful clock - perhaps I should paint mine, but of course I know hubby would keel over if I did that, haha! The musical notes just give your lovely art the finishing touch - beautiful Tammie.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Mary. Thank you for noticing the notes.
DeleteWonderful job. A Grandmother's Clock for sure. I can feel her dancing to the chimes - it must run longer than mine though. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings

I thought that too after the fact. I should have had the clock on the hour.
DeleteBut I think that once she gets dancing she goes on and on for a while because it feels to good ;-)
Thank you!
Such a fun piece for the theme, lovely work!
ReplyDeleteJust LOVELY!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as she dances with the sound of the clock in tackt!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is charming. Grandmother clock, indeed.
ReplyDeleteAnd as one who has old-school, mechanical, ticking clocks, I can relate to the tug and sway that the music of such time pieces invite. :)
She is such a charming dancer. I almost hear the sound of the clock and her rhythmical steps.
ReplyDeleteI join Tomoko!!!
ReplyDeleteMy grandparents had such a clock!
the light-rose-dancer-girl is so light and has no problem with clocks and time!
Fab painting! Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteJust delightful–the joyful girl and her shadow dancing to the rhythm of the clock!
ReplyDeleteCreative choice of numerals. Don't believe I've ever seen a clock with only those four, but why not!
