  5. Ooh, what a wonderful, cheery and lively interpretation of the theme, Tammie. I love it. So well depicted. Love the colours too. So fun! What a great concept. What made you come up with that idea? :)

    1. Hi Michael,
I didn't think I would participate this time, just couldn't come up with an idea. Then I thought to draw... the dancer came first, then I thought: Oh! She can be dancing to the clock. That is how so much of my art happens, one step at a time.

  6. What a delightful dancer, you've made her so pretty. Love the colorful clock - perhaps I should paint mine, but of course I know hubby would keel over if I did that, haha! The musical notes just give your lovely art the finishing touch - beautiful Tammie.

  7. Wonderful job. A Grandmother's Clock for sure. I can feel her dancing to the chimes - it must run longer than mine though. :)

    1. I thought that too after the fact. I should have had the clock on the hour.
But I think that once she gets dancing she goes on and on for a while because it feels to good ;-)

      Thank you!

  10. Oh, this is charming. Grandmother clock, indeed.
And as one who has old-school, mechanical, ticking clocks, I can relate to the tug and sway that the music of such time pieces invite. :)

  12. I join Tomoko!!!

My grandparents had such a clock!

the light-rose-dancer-girl is so light and has no problem with clocks and time!

  14. Just delightful–the joyful girl and her shadow dancing to the rhythm of the clock!
Creative choice of numerals. Don't believe I've ever seen a clock with only those four, but why not!
