recently Lynne Hoppe shared a watercolor paper
made in Italy
100% cotton
that is new to me
I like it
soft and feels very cottony
took the paint wonderfully
(but roughs up if one needs to erase pencil lines,
so I will attempt to not need to erase ;-))

(I am not sure what I think of this little landscape)
a glimpse of how I organized my paint samples
in coin sleeves
so handy

its a nice landscape, full of a lot of great different textures :)
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to see your soft touching world.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of your "How sweet Home" on your header.
Have a good day.
I really love the organization of your paint samples. So easy to see exactly what each color does. And, I might add, you used them beautifully in your painting!
ReplyDeleteTomoko sais it wonderful:
ReplyDeleteIT IS SO GOOD TO SEE YOUR SOFT TOUCHING WORLD!
I also admire your sweet home at the header!
This new watercolour-paper is a good friend for your colours and style.
I have heard of Amalfi paper. Your painting looks very dreamy. I really love it. I have learned my lesson of not using an eraser on watercolour paper. Now a days, I draw in my sketchbook and then trace it on the watercolour paper using a light-pad. Love your circular sample and your sample cards. Very clever of you to use coin sleeves for the cards :)

I like the this landscape, the mountains looks like sleeping creatures.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about paper as I like some-what smooth papers, textures are nice but I don't know as I don't use that many kinds of paper.
have a lovely day.
Excellent idea for storing color samples.! I think the dreamy-magical landscape you painted marries well with the softness of the paper. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe little landscape is exquisite and it is so good to see it in Real Life beside your paints and other art materials.
