ReplyDeleteToday would have been my brother's 64 birthday, I've been missing him even more than usual today, he left this world much too early. I sang Happy Birthday to him this morning, hopefully he knew.
The gold leaf adds a touch of sparkle to your painting. She is sitting very patiently waiting for longer days. I try to live in the moment but cant wait for the longer days to return.

ReplyDeleteWow, that is beautiful! She reminds me of a land mermaid. A landmaid? I love the details on the stump. And the colors in the sky remind me of Van Gogh.
