standing in the fairy ring
feeling the magic
of the earth, mushrooms and Fae
rise through her
until she felt vitality, love and light
in every cell of her being

ReplyDeleteDid you actually experience this Tammie?
Happy June!
Ruby

Deleteyes, i did stand in the center of the fairy ring
a lovely thing to do
Bonjour chère amie,
ReplyDeleteC'est toujours tellement un plaisir et bel étonnement à chaque fois !! Cette dernière oeuvre, remplie de poésie, me fascine avec ce cercle de petits champignons... Sublime travail !
Gros bisous ♡
yes, i am fascinated as well by fairy rings. it was fun to have them in my lawn, maybe 11 circles, or part circles of tiny mushrooms.
Deletethank you Martine.
So tender and imaginative. I think the lady standing in the fairy ring is yourself, Tammie. Sweet week to you, too.

I suppose there is a bit of me in all my art. I did stand in the center of a ring and breathe and feel and that is where this painting comes from. Yet I rarely actually think I am painting myself, but it often is my life.
DeleteI love them both for different ways, Tammie -- but the colors in this are simply dreamy.
ReplyDeletethank you Jeanie
DeleteBeautiful! It must be magical within that fairy ring. I think it must only appear when little fairies want to honor someone special, and this is you within that magical ring. You must have a bit of fairy or sprite in your blood! I love this beautiful lady and the wonderful trees with their great big knots and the large paintbrush leaning against one of them. So lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bella!
Deleteyes, magical. i love magic in the mundane, real life, simple treats. i have been told that i am not all human, many times.
This is so so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy week to you !
♥♥♥
So adventurous! This day I found this kind of ring ( just a piece, unperfect, but the idea was there) in the meadow of my horse and felt a nice connection to you and your white version, and now it's coloured! Happy!
ReplyDeleteThat is so fun to hear Dori!
DeleteYour experience makes me smile!
Both versions are wonderful to see. Looks like so much enjoyment to paint your drawings!
ReplyDeletelovely earthy colours. its nice to see before and after.
ReplyDeletethank you Sue.
DeleteLove this one! I had forgotten about fairy rings. For some reason, we don't have them around us here. I used to see them when my husband's parents lived in the north woods.
ReplyDeleteAll of these colours are so gentle even although they are intense.
ReplyDeleteLove looking at all the details, the little bird, the two blue flowers bottom right, her interesting skirt and the fairy ring surrounding the soft green.
Is she a good witch? Is that her broom propped up against the tree?
It looks like a magical place where I would love to visit ....
ReplyDeletenew theme for the drawing challenge
ReplyDeleteposted on my blog!

Lovely to see the ink version then the painted one. Fairy rings are magical. I like the little birds head feather.
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this? I just love so much about it! And you.
ReplyDeleteLove the magic you create in every piece! Mushrooms are so powerful itself and for us human beings so healing and soothing! Love them and the feeling your painting gives me! ♥ Conny http://piaromsartjournaling.blogspot.de
