Fairy Ring


standing in the fairy ring

feeling the magic
of the earth, mushrooms and Fae
 rise through her

until she felt vitality, love and light
in every cell of her being

    I remember when I was a little kid I couldn't quite make up my mind whether fairy rings were real or not and whether there were little people living in the forest. Ah for the innocence of childhood!
