What a lovely idea, beautifully done! I usually can't abide the colour red, but for some reason chose it this time. Infact it was just right, for I have new flowers blooming in my garden today ... although I could do without the sun (already I am weary of summer!)
ReplyDeleteSarah, thank you for playing along. It means a lot after all the fun time that went into this project. I usually do not go for red either, but how fun that it called out for you and was just right. I understand sun being too much. I love winter, spring and autumn. Summer is good too, unless it is so very hot or full of biting bugs.
DeleteJust discovered your wonderful blog. I chose BLUE 'New life beckons, honour it's call' This couldn't have been more meaningful to me at this time, it has made me think - i'm so glad I found this x
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea! I chose the blue drawer. Perfect!! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWonderful interpretation of the theme. Blue was also my choice from your magical mystery box! A new life beckons for me:). Thanks for joining. - eric

DeleteTammie ha, nice to create and play with a game
ReplyDeleteI go for the color blue .......
Nice to share it.
Kind regards Christiene ............
Ha Tammie, mooi om te maken en er een spel mee te spelen
Ik ga voor de kleur blauw.......
Mooi om dit te delen.
Lieve groetjes Christiene............
What a lovely idea :-) I picked number 5 with the lovely candle! The outside of the match box draws was so lovely too!!
ReplyDeleteHi Caz, thank you for enjoying the outside. I painted on tea bags for that part.
DeleteThis is a great idea Tammie. I like the personal way of creativity in those little boxes. When you give them away you really give something personal. People can keep it with them, so tiny.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun Tammie- Eyes smiles and hearts soar when they shine :)
ReplyDeleteWill take that one with me - best to you too!
Que bonito juego y la idea!!!
ReplyDeleteYo los elijo todos!
;)
Un beso Tammie!!!
Oh how fantastic is this?! You're so clever. I chose the blue one, 'New life beckons, honor its call.' I certainly will. :) Thankyou for this fun game Tammie!
ReplyDeleteJess xx
naturally, i chose gold, right in the middle of things (or drawers)... what a quirky, fun entry!!
ReplyDeletei was thinking of you, and all of us, as i was walking about in nature today, enjoying a feeble sun, admiring the beautiful winter branches all around me... yes, i do feel better again, thank you for asking. i've decided to let nostalgia not get the better of me too often...
n♥
thank you for having fun with this.
Deletesuch a wonderful thing to walk and think of us blog friends, thank you.
nostalgia, an interesting thing, our past..... some times it serves us to be there, but the vitality is in the present.
so glad you are doing better.
Lovely post for the start of the year! I did it two days running - blue and purple. Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you did this two days in a row. thank you.
DeleteLovely to the max Tammie! I chose the golden drawer, like Nadine. I love the idea of being in the middle and protected and spearing my roots thru all the drawers below and crown thru all the drawers above. :D I was thinking of hosting, and would like to invite you to, next week's DC with the word "Toast". Big hugs for a lovely week. X
ReplyDeletehello Veronica,
ReplyDeletei love your message
in the middle with roots and crown reaching through
reminds me of a tree
just like your message in the drawer
i did not realize that the tree was in the middle as you have interpreted it
yes, i would love to join you for toast, thank you for letting me know!
big hug to you too ~
I am so happy that this was a fun thing for all of you!
ReplyDeleteIt has made it all the more fun for me.
oh, that's a lovely game! I stopped and chosed first red and second purple. And then I was happy with your words!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this!
Katrin
Oh everyone should read this blogpost, what wonderful fun, wonderful matchboxes and painting and beautiful words. Quite overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteI first of all chose the pink and the apricot and really loved their messages.
Your little paintings are so beautiful and full of charm; I tried to choose a favourite but couldn't.
Of the messages I rather liked "my" messages, but they were all lovely and inspiring.
The matchboxes look so happy in their cleverly made and delightfully patterned box.
Thanks for a wonderful blogpost and art.
thank you Sheila, such a lovely message and wonderful of you to consider this project as you did. Sweet week to you!
DeleteDear Tammie, what a wonderful idea. I choose the pink and the turquoise one ...and thank you for the lovely words.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes and a smile for you too

ReplyDeleteOh I love how you think Tammie!
ReplyDeleteI chose #6 the turquoise/green drawer because it's reminds me of the sea.
