Meditative

Do you ever need to do something meditative?

Something that brings you present, so that your mind goes nowhere else?

I love things that bring me present.

Photography, cooking, art all support being present.

These layers of mountains were meditative.

So thankful to know what medicine to choose,

a walk in the forest, xc ski through the meadow, focusing on my breathing

and/or

painting.

Wishing you calm and peace when your spirit needs it.

    2. Hi Quinley, for some reason I can not leave a comment on your blog. Your dolls clothing are wonderful colors and I enjoy her wild red orange hair.

  7. Meditation? I don't know. I think anything you do that you enjoy can be meditative as long as it doesn't stresses you out.

Lovely painting. I like your use of colors.

    Have a lovely day.

    1. Yes, I agree, that is why I called it meditative. Brings me present to what I am doing, not thinking of past or future. A very enjoyable stance.

Thank you. I am not sure what I think of this painting, but I enjoyed doing it.

      Lovely day to you too.

  9. This is so pretty, Tammie Lee. Yes, we all need these "silent and still" things to calm us from time to time. I love going to the creek, and saying the Rosary always brings me peace. So glad you have your wonderful art to be creative with and express your thoughts. Our blogs are also a wonderful place to do that. : )

    Merry Christmas!
