All that green is a blessing for winter-weary eyes -- thank you! Good to see that the chickadees are still with you -- they have been far steadier companions than I would have thought. Not at all flitty. Best wishes to you, friend. Here's to the spring that is certainly on its way...
Yes, I think yearning for spring may have inspired this piece. The wee birds are steady companions because I take my task of feeding them seriously. I step out to do so maybe 20-30 times a day. It took a couple months to get maybe 20-30 birds to feel comfortable with me. I love the interaction. Thank you so much for your good wishes. I will take them to heart.
Green will come. It has been raining today. Ice and snow crashing off my roof, 42F…. Will it get cold again, will it snow some more ;-). Time will tell.
The tree that grows and grows and enjoys its beautiful view. Green, more beautiful than the most beautiful green. Birds want to nest in it. Spring singing is the reward for the tree.
What a beautiful work of art Tammie, it makes me happy. Thank you and enjoy your birds!
To experience this lush green again after the winter is wonderful .. yes it will come and please us humans and for the birds. Nice the photo is wonderful how familiarity is between you while feeding. I wish you beautiful dreamy creative moments, hug Elke
Spring will come, it was quite warm here yesterday, unusually so. I still have a lot of snow, so it will be a while still. Thank you for your lovely wishes.
This was a surprise painting. I love it in all its green lushness and I'm happy that the tree is happy where it is planted. I never tire of seeing your feathered friends and your home and its area, full of magic.
It was fun to do something different. I think I might have been dreaming of spring. I am so glad you enjoy my feathered friends. I do too. Wishing you a day that inspires your smile.
Warm Greetings to you, I am a artist, photographer of nature and poetic writer. My arts are inspired by the land I live with. Living in a wee log cabin surrounded by woods, meadows and wildlife in the NW corner of Montana. I hope you enjoy your visit, I look forward to getting to know you.
