He stands on his toes Poise rises from within Planted similar to a mushroom Rooted in the earth Crown nearing the heavens Though he is an elf His prayers are for all humans ~
The inner strength is an enormous strength and I say thank you for his care for us humans! A beautiful drawing from your forest dreaming! Take care of yourself, hugs Elke
I love this poem and the drawing! The coulours fit to the dayly more coming spring-light. I love this elf and his prayers! Wonderful reality of your mind and heart and more - - -
Perhaps all artists have this experience. Doubt and wonder as they move through a piece. It is good to have the experience of working through the doubt to satisfaction. It offers us courage for next time. I know that I lean on this memory. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Tammie! This struck my heart, poem and art...what a gorgeous scene..and he is so charming. Love his hat..also the wondrous mushrooms, the line work, the magical curling curves in the clouds and fantastic colors all throughout! I always imagine what fun you must be having while in the midst of creation! Wishing you a magical week! Victcoria
Warm Greetings to you, I am a artist, photographer of nature and poetic writer. My arts are inspired by the land I live with. Living in a wee log cabin surrounded by woods, meadows and wildlife in the NW corner of Montana. I hope you enjoy your visit, I look forward to getting to know you.

ReplyDeleteThank you Dori.
DeleteVery different color choices for me, which I doubted for a day or two, but as the painting unfolded it came together for me.
Those doubts in the mind of an artist and the victoty over them - this is my experience - are valuable to discover new things.
