I love this girl. The details of her vest unbuttoned at the top, the shadow of the had holding the basket and the little puckers at the bottom of the skirt. One of the roots to the tree looks like an alligator head. Hey it's just me. Have a nice evening.
This is just perfect along with the words. You are very good at painting clothes. I really like her dress with the pretty band of green on the skirt. She has filled her pretty basket with the little flowers. I would love to see inside her house.
Thank you Jeanie. I don't know if I have a favorite season. My least favorite here in NW MT. would be the first half of spring when every thing is brown and muddy. Though it does inspire a great deal of patience waiting for things to grow.
When choosing colors for this piece I remember deciding to use the same colors for her as the landscape, hoping to pull it all together more. In real life I never think to dress and match the world around me ;-) Thank you.
Warm Greetings to you, I am a artist, photographer of nature and poetic writer. My arts are inspired by the land I live with. Living in a wee log cabin surrounded by woods, meadows and wildlife in the NW corner of Montana. I hope you enjoy your visit, I look forward to getting to know you.

The summer air is blowing in the mountains and the girl is picking her apples from the tree .. you can dream ... wonderful to look at the picture!

What a fun thought, to see inside her house.... You may have inspired a new piece!
DeleteRipe with details. Juicy & sweet... the best of summer.
ReplyDeleteShe is ONE with the tree and with the ground. She looks happy in a wide range. Her clothes are a sign of friendship with the tree and with the ground.
ReplyDeleteI also love to draw flowers in a basket! This also means her virtues.
Lovely to consider your perception dear Dori.
DeleteThank you for sharing your thoughts.
