home sweet home
~
waiting for my dentist appointment
I drew this lady with curly hair
and
her colorful home
with curly smoke
and
curly clouds
~
later sitting in the lobby
looking a the floor
I spied this serpent in the grains of the wood
and
thought it a rather curly serpent

Sweet home suits her house and she is so pretty with her curly hair
ReplyDeleteand the serpent is so sweet I would not be afraid, her expression is so dear!
Greetings Elke
Thank you for enjoying these pieces Elke.
DeleteGorgeous..I am in love with your sweet serpent, such a magical glimmer in the eyes! And your green-haired beauty is so lovely..and her enchanted home in the backdrop...awesome! I always love visiting your magical world!
ReplyDeleteThank you Victoria, it was fun to make a serpent. I always love when you visit.
DeleteCurls everywhere! You really used the theme. As a kid, I'd have longed for that turquoise hair.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you will still try the turquoise hair.... some day.
DeleteLots of lovely curly art you did today Tammie!
ReplyDelete"Curly"! What an original theme. I'm now imagining that this lady is your dentist and her dental surgery is in the tower. But I wouldn't like to go to this dentist and find this curly, rather sinister, pink serpent on the floor.
ReplyDeleteYour art always stirs my imagination
I enjoyed considering your ideas about these pieces. Art like a dream to be interpreted.
DeleteThank you Sheila.
I love the curly theme :) The first drawing is so pretty! Her home looks cozy :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe some day you will join us?
DeleteThat's not a bad idea Tammie Lee...I'm going to read up on the links. It would be a good way to give me some structure with my art projects...I'm all over the map these days. I can't handle not being organized!!! Thanks for the suggestion!! :)
DeleteNext Wed: Tie it Up - Due 2017.09.06
DeleteThanks! I've just been reading Michael's post on how to join! I'll be joining, I hope I can keep it up! :)
DeleteSo happy to hear that Rain.
DeleteI do love a woman who waste no time sitting in a dr. office! Your time was well spent. Love the cute little girl with the curly hair.
ReplyDeleteThank you Latane. I do like moments when I can pull out my sketch book and sketch.
DeleteNice curls, I like the stone path leading to her home.
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying the path Trina.
DeleteThese are both really interesting and lovely. I have a big dentist appt. coming up - doubt I will be creating anything so amazing whilst waiting in the office - but I'll think of you and wish I could escape to the cute house on the hill with the curly smoke!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
DeleteFun to think of you enjoying the wee house soon.
Your green hair girl reminds me of the young woman who works in the grocery deli. Her hair is any number of colors -- sort of exactly the color you used at St. Patrick's day, these days sporting a rather neon hot pink. Somehow it works for her!
ReplyDeleteI have never died my hair Jeanie. I do think it must be fun to try out lovely colors.
DeleteI would not be creative at all in a dentist office but it's nice that you are. curly serpent - didn't even think of that. you've good curly ideas here, I especially like the curly smokes.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
Staring at the floor, trying not to cry and there the serpent was. Sketching it helped me calm my emotions.
DeleteTammie, I absolutely LOVE these--both of them. I adore your imagination. So glad you are part of our picnics with your unique images that are so magical and fairy tale like. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, thank you so much Michael. It is fun to join in. Thank you for hosting!
DeleteAlso a time occupied by dentist-actions cannot kill your deep contact with the forest and their secret people and friends. They find you everywhere!
ReplyDeleteHope everything is okay now with your teeth!
Both are lovely, Tammie. Nice work on her hair and I like the expression on her face. Your little serpent is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI am always in awe when people use their downtime (like waiting in dr. or dentist's offices) to keep creating. This is a wonderful take on the curly theme.
ReplyDeleteLove this Tammie,
ReplyDeleteHer house is so interesting and your curly serpent is splendid.
Blessings
Janis
You do curls well. Glad to hear that others kind creatures in the woodwork.
ReplyDeletevery creative finding the serpent in the wood :)
ReplyDeleteI love your curly painting - her hair is just like mine, except mine is not green! Great shading on her face. A lovely painting. And the nicest serpent I have ever seen!
ReplyDelete(Sorry about the deleted posts - I got in a muddle!!)
Tammie, this is wonderful. I LOVE her hair and I love the color you chose. She's fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteMy apologies for visiting so late! :)
