she dug a little hole
and hoped with all her heart
that the little swirly plant
would thrive and be happy in it's new home
~
This week I planted nine plants
and hoped with all my heart.....
also hoped that the deer and ground squirrels will not eat them!
Thank you Michael for hosting us

ReplyDeleteVery sweet drawing, and I think her wish will come true. since it was with ALL her Heart!!!!
ReplyDeleteDo hope the plants thrive. Good drawing and inspirational idea to give her hair twirls
ReplyDeleteThank you, you are right about the matching twirls.
DeleteSuch a lovely sketch! I love that her swirly hais is same as the swirly plants.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure both her and your plants will grow up beautifully!
Thank you for noticing the details. I think I smiled when I made the plants and her look like kin with swirls. The final touch.
DeleteOh Tammie,
ReplyDeleteI really understand the deer eating the tender new shoots - especially hostas. I lost all of mine the first year. Now I have learned some of the plants that they ignore but they still manage to nip off the buds and flowers.
Great sketch.
Blessings,
Janis
