wandering through the land
of
rainbows
~
last night we got 6" of snow
winter continues to grace our land
sometimes the sun comes out when it is snowing
I always look for rainbows
but I don't know if rainbows work with snow

this is so lovely, one of my favourites. I don't know if rainbows work with snow either?
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying it Sue. It was a fun one to make.
DeleteI think I want to continue looking for snow rainbows instead of looking it up to find out ;-)
The picture has become wonderful and fantastic with color!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow again with you and whether the rainbow works mhm I have not seen any in the snowfall but in our dreams
Beautiful day Elke
funny that... i've never seen a rainbow over snowscapes... maybe the sun really needs clear water to reflect, but what do i know? anyway, tammie, i'm here on our mission : our new AC theme is up. feel free to come out and play with us, over the weekend of march, 18-19.

so beautiful, it will be a long journey, the snail.
And snow with you, with us it becomes a little spring,
Wish you a nice Sunday ....
Greetings Christiene.
What an adorable sketch. One of my favorite holidays.
ReplyDeleteHappy St Paddys Day. Tammie.😂
This might be one of my favorite paintings of all of yours. Such charm, character and enchantment. It really tells a story.
ReplyDeleteAnd your cabin looks lovely!
Dear Tammie, I enjoy the coloured drawing VERY much! How strong and encouraged he is, full of an inner aim!
ReplyDeleteIn what an amazing region you live! The snow in the middle if March really is like North North North!
I think, the rainbow only works with rain. The snowbow is ....??
Oh, I'm so glad to have looked back to see how you added the color and a few details (like the the buckles and beard) to your sketch! Love it!
ReplyDeletethis turned out well though I'm a bit iffy about the beard, I guess I like he was younger but maybe older is better as wise people have learned to enjoy the weather, perhaps. don't know but I like the colors.
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.
