One day a friend picked up two sticks

began to balance one on top of the other
it was fun to watch
a bit like juggling
simple pleasures are so good

DeleteHe is a gorgeous soul! how I love this piece..I thought he was dowsing at first...maybe he is !!Beautifully done..love the colors too..the shading is always fantastic! I would have loved this challenge, wish i had seen it earlier!! Love his hat and those stitches down his beautiful blue jacket... awesome!

DeleteLike Nadine, I remember a toy that was basically the same idea. I really like your painting; at first I thought he was dowsing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dowsing, which is looking for water underground by feeling the pull of a stick, usually willow. Thanks for inviting me to the party! xo
