tis the season
for magical elves
to add delight
to those of our world
ink sketch or watercolor
so often a question that rises for me
~
we are in a snowy realm
cold days and nights
a different sort of winter for us
I think the high for today is 11F = -11C
burrrr

Oh Tammie, she is wonderful. (I must sound so redundant!) But perfect for the season.
ReplyDeleteSnowy here today too -- wish that sweet elf could make the snow disappear!
loveliness. so sweet. and so much to draw the eye.. I cant stop looking. I love all the details.. especially the dotty brows on the little deers face, the elfs stary hat, and the little bird singing
ReplyDeleteI LOVE her and her deerfriend! I feel the atmosphere in your region. I prefer the watercolour. Colour is emotion and adventure. But I understand your conflict!
ReplyDeleteHere the weather is not snowy now. But often we and they say BRRRR!
Lovely water painting!I like those soft colors. I enjoy watching all the details. So good to let her friend wear the necklace!
ReplyDeleteThese three days, the temperature finally dropped, but no snow. I hope snow comes early!!
I love your wintry paintings, but how can you not be inspired by your lovely landscape and beautiful home. Warm hugs to you.xxx
ReplyDeleteHey, Tammie, she has sent some minus degrees to the Bavarian forest!! Brrrr! :))))
ReplyDeleteA HIGH of eleven degrees??? Oh my. Your elf is beautiful. And the deer! I just want to squeeze it. So cute!!!!
Mille bisous ❄︎ ❄︎ ❄︎
This is utterly charming.
ReplyDeleteI love all the details like the cap with stars and the deer's necklace.
They look a happy pair.
