ReplyDeleteyour window, door and yes, world views are simply formidable. often i gaze at your pictures and find you are living in eden. i can imagine how inspiring that is, to be surrounded by such natural beauty. sigh.
ReplyDeleteand thank you so much for playing! here's to us! n♥
I love our views here also. I was away for 4 days camping in a gorgeous area, more views!
DeleteThis is really tremendous, Tammie, maybe one of your very best? I love the way you have captured the owl, the painted trees and hills, the colours you have used, the girl and the finishing touch of all the verticals, especially the wonderful pattern of the lower porch. The girl is a lovely painting in herself.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, you lucky girl! I hear some all night but rarely see them. Even when I try to sneak up to the barn owl house I miss seeing it. Once I surprised a great horned while I was walking in a forest in the interior of BC. He was so silent as he flew away. Amazing creatures. I just love your art. Always happy and always so full of expression.
ReplyDeleteTammie this is such a beautiful painting! Right away I knew it must the view from your lovely cabin; it just radiates happiness and peace. What a privilege to look at such beauty every day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying this Sharmon!
DeleteI am so enjoying my porch this summer as we have not had many mosquitoes, yay!
Plus one never knows what they might spy while sitting there. Yes, I am thankful to be here!
Hi Tammie! I like the way you drew the woman (you?) giving the back to us the persons looking at your drawing. gives me the sensation that i am part of the painting too, as if i am wathching from inside the house. Good detail!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your thoughts on looking from behind. I love considering that. Yes, me, because i was alone when I saw the owl....
