I have been doing a good deal of 29 Faces in two sketchbooks that do not support
watercolor in a grand way
i am getting away with it
yet paper becomes wobbly as i add layers of color
it is all a lot of practice
so wobbles are ok
visit:
to see faces from other artists

So charming. I love the openness of the first face, and the dreamy contemplative expression of the second.

Lovely, Tammie! I mean I know both: The green is my friend Iris, the violet is my friend Chintha! Sensitive and right placed shadows!
ReplyDeletehow fun that these remind you of two of your friends! thank you for your lovely message Dori.
Deletelooks good to me, no wobbly in sight.
ReplyDeletehope you have a lovely day.
perhaps i could iron the paper, but these are in sketchbooks, so they might flatten with time, or maybe it does not matter.
