when her feelings and life were in
disarray
chaotic and confused
she would wrap her hearts wings around her
bathing in their healing way
letting the troubles melt away
finding her way back
to the center of her vitality
and
peace
spent a lot of time this week
attempting to understand our DC,
sixes and sevens
thought of lost things, such as keys and glasses,
too much to do
etc.
created sketches
then this idea rose out of real life
and took hold

love it! especially the star and wings.
ReplyDeletewhen I think too much on a theme, I usually ends up with nothing more than scraps of ideas but if something comes out of it, it's totally worth wandering...
have a lovely day.
Such a serine and beautiful piece of art.
ReplyDeletei think you have worked out a fine idea, envelope oneself in wings... it is such a reassuring thought... i'm so happy you wanted to think about the theme, sometimes it is though, indeed.
ReplyDeleteyour faces are coming along fine too. this one here is so contemplative.
thank you, tammie, for playing along. n♥
I love the vision of her wings wrapping her up snuggly like a baby is swaddled when they get stressed or fussy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
Love that. So peaceful and secure. So calm. Returning to the inner self and keeping it wrapped from trouble and harm. I found something about meditation in several seven Terms of our Body, so this fits perfect!
ReplyDeleteA lovely dreamy picture, and those wings! x
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see that you always succeed to create a balance in your paintings! - eric
ReplyDeleteDear princess in the forest, your star is shining, the angel's wings give you shelter, you have learned and experienced to be an angel for others, so you can also use your wings to give you back your midst and feel again your inner light. You were irritated for a short time, but now you know your way again after some moments of resting in the silence of a secret place in the forest. You found back to your place

ReplyDeleteI would you illustrated very well what might be the best way to deal with irritation and confusion going inside meditating to clear up the mind again. Nice drawing again, these cute little mushrooms!

I love the idea of heart wings, wrapped around one who so needs the hug. This particular drawing and the detail on her face speaks volumes.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry it has been a challenging week. I hope the new one brings a bit of let-up in that front.
I have just found my center, again, dear Tammie,
ReplyDeletethrough your lovely painting and soft, true words. Thank you.
Love, Ariane
Beautiful post Tammie.I love your painting. Its amazing how inspiration arises when you are not expecting it in the way you have described
ReplyDeleteYou know I love that star! I did 'star' as well this week. Or, at least, star played an important role in things 6s and 7ns. This piece may be my favourite yet of all I've seen of your work dear Tammie. Best to you, N, x
ReplyDeleteI love that Tammie! From now on I'm going to wrap my heart's wings around me when I'm at sixes and sevens. :D
ReplyDeleteI love this drawing, Tammie! It's so expressive - she looks sad but also as if she is protected and healing at the same time. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou've given her a beautiful healing place to recover in.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tremendous painting, with so much to imagine there.
I have recently made a silly test on facebook: "what are your superpowers?". it said, I am best in transforming myself from the reality, when times are tough. you have illustrated this concept tso beautifully. thank you! xo
ReplyDeleteYou're magic!
ReplyDeleteTammie love this job 29 faces!
