She is beautiful, and touches my heart today as yesterday day I attended the funeral of a dear friend who passed away at 98. She too was an artist. Your angel makes me think of Elizabeth. Thank you.
Love your angel, she looks very sweet and honest, like that alot :)) And I love the salt treatment, have to give that a try too :) Used to do that with behind glas painting - many, many years ago :)) Have a beautiful Sunday!
You've made a lovely sky for her, and I also like the second picture where there is a space waiting for her to arrive. A fascinating idea, a watching angel, I wonder if there are any fat watchers? This would be a lovely calm painting to have on the wall, it would be so calming.
all the pinks and oranges and blues looks great together, I really like the watercolors effects, makes it quite dreamy
ReplyDeletehave a lovely day.

DeleteI love wet-on-wet painting, as this looks to be - ? As Lissa said, it's so dreamy.
ReplyDeleteyes, Sarah, wet on wet and sprinkled with salt and left to dry, so the salt becomes the artist.
