ReplyDeleteSuch a beauty!!
hugs..I will think of you and this painting next time the trees tug at me!
Never my hat, but my hair, my camera bag, my coat and they have poked me in the eye, those little devils!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you finally painted this. Delightful colours, and I love how you personified the tree!
I love how the girl (you) is grabbing for her hat and realizes it is gone! Well done!
Beautiful painting! The wind here at the Rhine is also a hat snatcher, 2 of my winter caps went sailing away this year! Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat painting. I know what you mean about trees. I've never had this happen to me but I did know somebody who got swept off her horse by a tree!
ReplyDeleteAdorable c'est une jolie création !
ReplyDeleteTrès bon week-end à toi!
Cath
This is so cute, and I really love the colors!
ReplyDeletelol...very cute. Lovely, fun picture. Great colours and I love the details. I spy my favourite...mushrooms.

ReplyDeleteoh yes this has happened to me many times, I live in an area where there are many low bushes, and with thorns, then I use a hat so that the thorns do not damage my head, and always gets caught on a branch!
Happy Women's day, Tammie :)
not a hat, but my short short hair, OUCH! just LOVE LOVE this whole idea...art that makes us smile, laugh, feel good and want to keep peering is the BEST here!
ReplyDeleteHaha this is so fun! I love the little hand of the tree snatching her hat! I can't say this has happened to me as I'm not really a hat wearer but this is such a great picture!
ReplyDeleteJess x

this is just adorable. I actually chuckled when I saw the painting so cute it is!
ReplyDeleteI am heading out now for a wander in the woods, and I have no doubt that the trees will try to snatch my hat! I will think of your lovely painting as I duck under trees.
ReplyDeleteHa, very true, Tammie! The trees like to play games in the forests we walk in too. I love her hand hunting for her hat and the other on her hip. Delightful.
ReplyDeletethis is so fun and sweet and yes! it has happened to me too..tree's and bushes (rascals)
ReplyDeleteWould make a lovely opening to a children's story...I'm wanting more!
Hope you have a great week :)

ReplyDeleteyes! trees do that sometimes
and
i love her shoes too ;^))
That's brilliant Tammie; with two feet of hair I can certainly relate...lol. I really like your painting, and I love red heads to pieces. Lovely job. :)
ReplyDeleteA very lovely fairytale, which happens not to anyone!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful artwork! Yes, she could be me! In nature photography I'm always looking down and catching my hat or hair in low tree branches!
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice illustration but what really excites me is your story about trees grabbing your cap. This winter it happened to me twice! First time my cap was lifted I said: haha very funny to the tree and I really had to laugh because it was funny and the next day he did it again! Tree jokes. But I don't blame him, even trees need some laughter from time to time and maybe seek for attention, thats o.k. right?
ReplyDeleteLove your drawing! Also very sexy this red hair girl!
Hugs
