and hot summer
perfect for swimming in Montana's beautiful lakes
immediately cooled
to enjoy the heat of the day

Water is tough! I have no idea how to handle it. But I wish I lived in Montana. It sounds lovely. And this is a very sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteI would like to jump into that lake!

Very dreamy illustration Tammie~!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the girl is having a lovely moment with the birdy!<3
Your work is always stunning Tammie, even the 'firsts'. We have such humid summers here in CT, many days I would have loved to twitch my nose & join her & her birdy friend in your part of the universe ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love the image … immersed in the waters … bird in hand … it's very poetic to me!
ReplyDeleteAnd for what it's worth, there's a part of me that envies your hot summer. I'm still waiting for August's heat to arrive. So are my tomatoes and peppers and eggplant!
Wow you live in such a beautiful place. i love your new header by the way! sorry I havn't visited in a while I have been crazily working for a deadline. love your drawings as always.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some beautiful nature there! And your swimming lady looks nice and relaxed ...
ReplyDeleteHi, Tammie, I see that your artwork reflects much feeling. when, an illustration, drawing or painting reflects and transmits feeling, nothing else matters
ReplyDeleteI think you should be a person who feels, and lives in contact with nature, right?
people living in contact with nature have the transparent heart. and it shows in his art.
have a nice weekend!!! :)
You have such a lovely style..
ReplyDeleteI can see the reflections in the water.. Beautiful!
Thank you so much for your kind words for Rosebud.. This was my first attempt at a piglet.
fondly,
Penny
p.s. LOVE your header!
WOW.....MONTANA, HUH? Oh Tammie, your art, so colorful and free! Not an easy task to paint water. I tried it once and it was tricky; I used white to paint a glass, and used a bit of blue to paint the water in the glass...it was DIFFICULT! But your lovely painting depicts a freedom that spells out summer. And your home state...WOW! Enjoy and thank you for coming by! Anita
ReplyDeletebeaautiful painting and photo! Wonderful blues.
