Tammie, I so enjoy seeing what goddess each week will bring: love the feather earring on this one, the spiraling swirls of dots, the way you married the poem with the picture ... and that basket of produce - oh my - vibrant, vibrating, very, very alive!
This is my favourite so far! The background glows with warmth and encompasses her. The shading on her face brings her to life, a lovely piece! Your basket of goodies looks amazing but what is that purple thing? (forgive my foreign ignorance!) Jess xx
Hi Tammie Glad to meet you! I love the little poem that goes with your painting. The image of inhaling the soft breeze brings so many images to mind - Wow what a stunning basket of veggies - nothing better than fresh organic veggies.
Oh, Tammie! I have to say, I think this beautiful drawing is now my favorite of all. I adore what you've done with the color and line in this piece. Such wonderful harmony and warmth.
You have touched my heart with your amazing drawing and colors, thank you! I too want to become a new season.... This basket of Autumn's gifts would make a delicious stir fry...a perfect way to become a new season! Sherry

Hi Tammie, in answer to your ? about the color pencil painting. It is not watercolor pencil but just regular ones. It is the technique and layering that are suppose to make it look like it was painted instead of pencil. I will post my first two lessons on friday.
Thank you Tammie for your lovely comments. To answer your questions, I use a smooth cartridge paper and it is FW acrylic artists ink , both Daler-Rowney. As it is acrylic it drys very quickly and also becomes permanent. I use it like water colour paints, mix with other colours and thin it with water. I would just try one colour, to see if you like it, each pot has a dropper and it lasts a long time. The paper is 150 g/m acid free cartridge paper in a black bound book, they do many sizes. I find that ink works best on smooth paper, not so well on thicker or textured papers. hope that makes sense and is helpful. Your art work is lovely. Milly
