Hovering Above the Sea

sitting at the sea
she appeared to me
assuring all my dreams
light is what it seems
offering a heart stance
her light uplifted grace
though she disappeared
her light is always near

The Invisible Realm

if it weren't for his clothing
the birds that land on his hand
a transparent elf he would be
in our land

oh, i want to learn how to use watercolors
i love the colors in these zecchi paints from Italy

but i think watercolors have rules
(or not)
i can see that one color must be very dry before another color is added next to it, or they bleed..... a few examples of bleeding in this tiny 4x6 painting

i would love
any suggestions for how to work with watercolors

Colors are Fun

born of the mossy forest floor
she rose with grace and dignity
creature not quite human
yet and earthling all the same

Harry Potter and the Elf at the Post Office

at the post office
there he was
a unique individual
minding his own
as though he lived
in a world all his own

an elf!

I just had to sketch him!

recently
I Won!!!
wahoooo

Look at how beautifully the package arrived! (above)

Erin made a fabulous wonderful magical
Harry Potter!

(the colors of this photograph does not do him justice)

still, he is so adorable!
he is leaning up against my magic ink pen journal

some how, i feel that
 Harry Potter, movies and books

have shown us that the people of our world love magic

how wonderful
because i feel that magic is swirled into each breath
if we allow it
